An alternative method of describing a person's job could see them save money on their car insurance, it has been claimed.
Research from confused.com has revealed that cuts by as much as 33 per cent are possible if they choose to rebrand themselves in such a fashion.
For example, the company suggested that somebody calling themselves a lawyer could save 22 per cent insuring a Fiat Brava over a person in the same position who goes by the job title barrister.
It could be that a simple word adjustment keep people from debt or makes them reconsider taking out a loan.
Debra Williams, managing director at the site, commented: "Insurance premiums are influenced by a host of factors ranging from the number of miles you drive per year through to your job title."
Meanwhile, research from uSwitch.com has revealed that Britons looking to go abroad may not be fully aware of exactly what their insurance covers.
